1. What inspired you to open Love Dental Studio in Brookland?

Brookland has always been one of my favorite D.C. neighborhoods. When I started to conceptualize Love Dental Studio, I knew I wanted to be in a place that felt family-oriented, community-driven, and diverse in every sense of the word. Brookland’s warm atmosphere and strong sense of connection immediately resonated with me. It’s a growing neighborhood with incredible cultural diversity, and I’ve always loved how its local businesses and mom-and-pop shops make it feel so friendly, familiar, and full of charm. Altogether, it felt like the perfect place to bring my vision to life and build a practice that truly values community.

2. How do you want patients to feel when they come through your doors?

When patients come to Love Dental Studio, I want them to feel at ease, like they’re visiting a place where they’re truly cared for, not just another dental office. I know that for many people, the dentist can bring up a lot of anxiety, so I was very intentional about creating a calm, inviting space where those worries can fade the moment they walk in. Building trust with my patients means everything to me. I want each person to know they’re in good hands, to feel truly listened to, and to leave not just with a healthier smile but also feeling relieved knowing they’ve found a provider they can trust with their dental care.

3. What’s your favorite part about being part of the Brookland community?

There are so many things I love about being part of the Brookland community, but the first thing that comes to mind (probably because it’s almost lunchtime) is the food! Some of the best restaurants and local spots are right here in the neighborhood. Brookland’s Finest was my go-to spot (so sad it closed!), and I can’t go without mentioning my favorite coffee spot, Zeke’s. Beyond the food, it’s the people and the neighborhood’s energy that make it such a special place to be part of every day.

4. Is there anything new or exciting happening at Love Dental Studio you’d like neighbors to know about?

I’m excited to share that Love Dental Studio is accepting new patients. For those without dental insurance, we’re offering a new patient special for $125, which includes a comprehensive exam, cleaning, and X-rays. Making dental care accessible and affordable has always been one of my priorities because oral health isn’t a privilege, it’s a basic need. We’re also running an Invisalign promotion, $2,000 off for anyone looking to straighten their teeth and improve their overall oral health. What I’m most excited about, though, is building stronger connections within the community. I’m so grateful to have discovered GBIV and look forward to growing that relationship.
