Calling all local history enthusiasts! What do you know about Woodridge?
On the northeastern boundary of Washington, DC in Ward 5 rests Woodridge—a neighborhood with a suburban feel. Not to be confused with its well-known neighbor, Brookland, Woodridge residents want to share their neighborhood history and culture with you!
Join the DC History Center at the Woodridge Neighborhood Library on May 17 to learn the history of the neighborhood, celebrate its culture, and connect with neighbors over snacks, music, and activities for all ages. Drop by between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm to learn something new about the neighborhood or share what you know! We hope to see longtime Woodridge residents, new neighbors, and Washingtonians from across the District at this special neighborhood event.
