"Poetry as Spiritual Practice" Potluck: Saturday, March 22nd
In these fraught times, it's crucial to gather in contemplative space grounded in Beauty, Goodness, and Justice. I'm therefore hosting a "Poetry as Spiritual Practice" potluck in my Brookland DC home on Saturday, March 22nd. I've invited my colleague Dr. Kathy Staudt to share from her experiences as a spiritual director, poet, and author of the book Viriditas. We'll then expand the conversation outwards to everyone in attendance for some interactive sharing.
The event is free; we're asking everyone instead to contribute a vegetarian side dish, as well as a poem they love that aids their spiritual practice. We're capping the group to 12 people total, which we hope may also support the gifts of contemplative, in-person sharing.
